So last year I decided to take on the task of cosplaying a few Jason Voorhees designs, they all own trials and tribulations to overcome,
such as part 1 Jason having you channeling the energy of a gross deformed child.
Contrary to some people's beliefs, he has grey pants.
Richard Brooker's Jason is wearing an Olive Green Workshirt,
Plain white T-Shirt, a basic Black Leather Belt, and some Black Boots.
I have all of these, so I'm good, but the problem arises with the mask.
My mask is of... Decent quality, but I could always get a better one.
A latex mask could be used to match Jason's head shape and cover up my decently big hair. One made by A New Kind of Fear Customs goes for 100 dollars.
If I were to give an overall percentage for what i have it would be about 85%.
C.J. Ghraham's Jason also wears an Olive Green Workshirt, but has a few holes in it because of that fence pole going through him.
He also has Khaki Colored Pants, and Black Boots, which I both have.
His belt is a US Army LC2 Belt with a Grey Buckle, which I have, and the pouch is a modified WW2 Army Thompson Belt in a khaki color. I do not have it.
The Machete Sheath is a basic black one, but the hunting knife is a Rambo 2 First Blood Survival Knife with a modified sheath, it is most likely the most expensive purchase, at least for the outfit.
The mask is something I don't have yet, so i'd have to either buy one, or buy a blank so I can paint it myself.
The hood goes for around 100 dollars, in very good quality by A New Kind of Fear Customs.
An overall percentage for what i have it would be about 45%.
Oh jeez... How do I even start with this one...
Kane Hodder's Jason in Jason X has 2 versions, a pre-uber, in where the design looks more like Jason Goes to Hell's Jason and is used the most in the movie, and an uber design, which is used for the rest of the movie.
I'm deciding to cosplay Pre-Uber Jason.
It's arguably the hardest jason to cosplay, which has several specially made clothes in the moive, but it's decently easy to find alternatives that look similar.
Thankfully there are images of the full underclothes.
This Jason wears Light Grey Pants, Black Boots, and a Light Grey Work Shirt, and for some reason, it doesn't have pockets. The pants and shirt have bullet holes in them.
The big problem with this cosplay arises with the shredded straight jacked on Jason.
HOW??? HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO REPLICATE THIS???
First of all, it's made of leather, there's a 3 prong brass-looking belt buckle on the torso, and broken chain links on the shoulders.
There IS another version of the screen used outfit with an easier to replicate tear on the torso but that doesn't remove the fact that I have to find a similar looking leather jacket.
The chains look decently easy to replicate, though.
Jason also wears fingerless gloves. How cool!
For the mask, it's decently easy to find a blank online, so that won't really be a problem for me.
As for a hood, I won't really need one, since Jason has some hair in the movie, I can let it all fly, since my hair is similar to Jason's in the movie.
Not in the way that my hair is all ripped out or anything lol
As for a overall percentage, I got nothing for it.
jesus christ.
It took me a bit of searching but I ended up finding a shirt and a jacket that fit the bill for the cosplay.
I fucking win.
with this now i just need the mask, chains, and broken shoulder chains.
I could also color the jacket to look more accurate to the color of the images of the outfit I sent above.
SOOOOO MUCH PROGRESS HAS BEEN MADE.
GLOVES, BULLET HOLES, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, THE MASK!!!
I also made a small display for it! :]
